I click "Begin Giving Online" and nothing happens?

When you click "Begin Giving Online", a new browser window is opened. If you are using a pop-up blocker such as the Google Toolbar, Norton Internet Security, or Pop-Up Stopper, the window will not open. Most tools will allow you to permit pop-ups on a specific web site. In order to use the giving area, you will need to allow pop-ups within mountaintopchurch.com.

When would this automatic contribution be charged to my account?

On the signup screens, you can specify whether you want your contribution made one time, weekly, twice per month, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. You can set up as many schedules as you would like, so it is possible to give a monthly gift as well as a weekly one. 

What method should I use for on-line giving?

We encourage you to consider using an automatic bank draft if possible. For your convenience you may use Visa or Master Card debit cards or credit cards. We discourage giving via credit cards or any other vehicle that would incur debt therefore we suggest that no one use a credit card unless it is paid off every month.

Can I test this by giving one time?

Yes. You may test Online Giving by selecting “One Time” in the frequency drop down box of the signup process.

Must I be a member to give?

No. You do not have to be a member to participate in online giving.

How can I keep a record of the amount I have contributed?

At any time you can view your record of "online" giving by viewing the Contribution History box. This will provide each donation you made, when you made it, and a year-to-date total. We also send year end statements directly to your home address.

Can I give to other funds?

Yes, you will be asked to choose from several funds when you log in. You may give to any of them, anytime, and with any frequency you like.

What if I change credit cards or want to change the amount of my contribution?

You can change your giving choices at any time through the "Scheduled Contributions" box found on the Giving page.

How do I participate in the weekly offering if my contribution is automatically processed online?

If you wish, you may write “I’m giving online” on a giving envelope and place it in the offering bag, but it is not necessary.

Why can't I see my giving history?

In order to maintain confidentiality, we manually check each Online Giving registration against our membership database. You can expect to have full access to our online features within 48 hours of signing up. If you have any questions, please e-mail the webmaster.
