“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another…” Proverbs 27:16 - 18.With all due respect to John Wayne, guys are pretty lousy going through life on their own. Most of the time, when we pick ourselves by our own bootstraps, we only wind up with broken bootstraps and sore hindquarters. Real men believe the Bible when it says “iron sharpens iron”; that we are at our best when standing shoulder to shoulder with our brothers at arms. We need other guys – to mold us, shape us, teach us and hold us up when life wants to knock us down. To understand what it means to be a man in the world today.
That’s our goal in the Men’s Ministry; to help every man walk a little taller, stand a little stronger and be the men God created us to be. To do that, we offer a variety of small groups and mentoring designed to bring us closer to God and His plan for our lives. To be better men.
