The Playground
Welcome to “The Playground” where children gather to love, laugh and learn. From birth to fifth grade, we are committed to partnering with parents to introduce children to Jesus and His way of life.
Our Values
Love- We want kids to learn to love God with all their heart and learn to love their
neighbor, whether it’s a friend at school, a person in need, or a child halfway across the world. Matthew 22:37-39.
Laugh- We want kids to have fun as they learn about God with their friends at church.
Psalm 16:11
Learn- We want kids to learn about God with their families as they go about their everyday lives. Deuteronomy 6:4-9
Our Children’s Ministry is broken up into three areas.
The TreeHouse
The TreeHouse is our Preschool Ministry and includes children birth through 5 years old. The Mountaintop nursery provides a safe, clean and nurturing environment for our babies. We also have a nursing suite equipped with a live broadcast from the auditorium.
During the preschool years we are committed to helping your child discover God. By the time they are 5 year olds, we want them to believe three basic truths:
· God loves me
· God made me
· Jesus wants to be my forever friend
The Playground
The Playground is our ministry for children in Kindergarten through 3rd grades. During these years, we are teaching the children virtues in order for them to learn more about God’s character and how they can build these virtues into their own lives.
The High Ropes
The High Ropes is our 4th and 5th grade ministry. Like the children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade, we are teaching our 4th and 5th grade children a core virtue each month. By the time they enter into middle school, we want our 4th and 5th graders to own three basic truths modeled by Jesus:
· I need to make the wise choice
· I can trust God no matter what
· I should treat others the way I want to be treated
Wednesday Nights
On Wednesday nights, our older preschoolers through fifth grade continue what they learned on Sunday. We also provide loving and safe child-care for our infants and toddlers.
